Jack Howley is the president of Howley Financial Group. He understands the challenges that undergraduate students in the United States. The fact that there are no systems in place to make this important step simple is a problem with long-term ramifications. For this reason, Jack Howley has taken the initiative, and established a scholarship program in his name, aimed at helping one student move forth, complete their undergraduate studies, and build a successful career.

The deserving student who wins the Jack Howley scholarship will see a deduction in their financial aid account of $1000. The award winner will have written an informative and engaging essay of 700-850 words addressing the following prompt. “Share an especially difficult time in your life, and how you worked to overcome it.” Email at
